Our story

Forty Four is led by Travis Cooley, a former engineering leader at evo.com, Nordstrom and Getty Images, where he ran data engineering, BI, supply chain technology, infrastructure, core services and helpdesk. Over more than two decades, he built data and analytics functions from the ground up, modernized infrastructure, led multi-layer organizations, and rebuilt team culture from the inside out.

Along the way, one lesson kept proving itself: the best technology in the world won’t fix a team that doesn’t trust each other, and a great team can do remarkable things with the right tools. Forty Four was founded to bring both halves of that equation together.

We believe technology should make people better, not busier. Trust is the foundation of every excellent team, and when people feel safe, are happy, and spend most of their time on work that energizes them, great results follow. We believe in plain language over buzzwords, practical solutions over over-engineered ones, and honest advice, even when the honest answer is that you don’t need something yet.
